Matt breaks down visual elements of videography into basic shapes to create this stunning memorable brand logo. It gives a nostalgic timeless image of a brand that has been around for many years. Matt’s beautiful work features in work or the New York Times magazine and recently pentagram. He uses of colour, type, contrast, texture, emotion and space to create pieces of art.
In his work you see retro references from what must be memories or experiences of his childhood. Bus and train tickets, Crafting influences, like hold punch circles, card texture, marker pens and transparency overlays. You also see bauhaus/Swiss grids and references of space and layout.
