I'm currently working at Porter Novelli, part of Omnicom. My clients include Merck, Roche, the Aga Khan Museum and Sony. I'm hands on with projects which vary from motion and animation to film and print. If you want to find out a little more, there's a Q&A on the next page...

A little bit more about myself

If someone described you, what would they say?

Kind, fair, hardworking, full of good ideas, great to collaborate with, and often found in a brightly coloured pair of socks.

Have you managed
teams before?

I’ve led several smaller teams as well as deputising for the Global Creative Director leading the wider team. I’m passionate about helping develop talent. There have been a number of tricky situations I’ve managed in the past, learning something valuable from each one.

Are you comfortable presenting to clients?

In a word, yes, although I have nerves like most people. I find it’s about talking and listening and asking good questions. In my time I’ve worked with all kinds of clients, from indecisive to dominating. The key is in the brief. Constantly checking in and making sure it leads to the end goal.

What are your thoughts on AI and creativity?

It’s a tool. Like all tools, you pick the best one for the right situation. AI brings an opportunity to focus on hi-end craft skills as we are liberated from mundane tasks.

What do you think makes great work great?

Great work has an unexpected simplicity, elegance, and clarity. It creates an emotional resonance that rewards the audience for spending time with it.

What kind of projects do you hope to work on?

Well, I’d like to work on projects that invoke the qualities of my previous answer. My dream is to collaborate with equally  ambitious professionals to produce concept-driven creative that breaks new ground.

What practical skills
do you have?

I’ve art-directed video and animation projects and designed content for POS, books, magazines, and marketing materials. I’ve covered all bases from ideation, pitches to retouching. I’m comfortable using software like After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator and presentation software.

Tell me a secret about yourself

Once I went to a fancy dress party dressed at Zorro. But I arrived at the wrong venue. It took several questions from bemused old men for me to realise my mistake.
